The Bavarian-style restaurant is unique in Mainz and Wiesbaden! Heavy, rustic wooden furniture and a traditional beer pool can only be found here in Mainz-Kastel.

The restaurant can accommodate up to 150 people. Good German cuisine and typical Bavarian dishes such as white sausage, pork knuckle or roast pork go particularly well with the rustic, cozy ambience. But vegetarian or vegan dishes can also be found on the menu.

Of course, freshly tapped Castel'er beer goes well with the meal!

Our popular beer parlor with unusual wall paintings is available for groups of up to 23 people. Our gallery offers enough space for events with up to 70 people.

Centrally located between Mainz and Wiesbaden, with a good bus connection (also to the train station) and three minutes to the motorway, people from the Rhein-Main area or from outside can easily find the German restaurant in Mainz-Kastel, Hesse.

The upper floor in our restaurant in Wiesbaden / Mainz is suitable for groups of up to 70 people.

The gallery, which is open on two sides, opens the view down into the restaurant and offers a great atmosphere for eating and drinking.

The furniture can be used variably: The tables can be placed in small groups, as a U-shape or L-shape. The decoration is in Bavarian style, but can be changed according to the occasion.

The large, green, sun-drenched beer garden is very popular with our guests from Mainz and Wiesbaden.

In good weather there is a wonderful holiday feeling that is absolutely relaxing. There is room for up to 250 people under the large parasols, very rustic on beer benches or comfortably on wooden chairs.

Depending on the weather, juicy steaks and sausages are grilled on the open charcoal grill. The best way to enjoy the delicious dishes is with a measure of our home-brewed beer or with a glass of wine from the Mainz winery, which is also known to our guests from Wiesbaden and the surrounding area.

A children's playground with a slide and rocking horse is available for our little guests. The playground partially borders the beer garden, so you can keep an eye on the kids.

The cozy seating invites you to linger between the rich green. Especially on hot days you can relax here wonderfully and recover from everyday life.

Casteler Biermanufactur - small but nice -

Castel'er beer is produced strictly according to the German purity law from 1516 in the classic copper two-unit brewing plant.

Traditionally, the barley juice is cooled by a sprinkler cooler and then fermented in old rustic oak barrels.

The best ingredients such as fresh Taunus spring water from the Münzbergstollen, the finest Tettnang cone hops and selected malt from regional malting plants give our home-brewed beer its special taste.

For eating, the little ones choose from various dishes in child-friendly portions ... and they sure taste good!
